A discreet medication reminder
What the lock screen shows
A knock reads “Time for your 9:00” with a countdown and a Taken button. The Live Activity and the home screen widget show your next dose without the name. Anyone glancing at your phone sees that you have something at 9:00, not what it is. If you prefer to see the name, you can turn it on per medication.
What the app shows
Inside Hushknock everything is clear: medication, amount, schedule, on-time and late doses, your notes. The discretion is for the parts of your phone other people can see.
No account, no server
There is no sign-up. Your medications, doses and notes are stored on your iPhone and nowhere else. Deleting the app deletes the data. If you want a copy, Settings → Export history as CSV gives you every scheduled dose with its outcome.
What we do collect
Anonymous usage statistics such as which screens are used and whether a reminder was confirmed, with no medication names, doses or notes. The detail is in the privacy policy, which is written in plain English.
Why discretion and persistence go together
People stop using loud reminders because they are embarrassing in company. People stop using quiet reminders because they are easy to ignore. Hushknock is quiet on the outside and insistent underneath: the knocks repeat and can ring, but they never say what the medication is. How the repeating works is on the keeps-reminding page.
Download Hushknock on the App Store
Hushknock is a reminder tool, not medical advice. Follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist, and never change a dose because of this app. Notifications depend on your phone's settings; the silent switch mutes the ring.
